The apocalypse is upon us as I have found a beer I will drink. Duchess de Bourgogne, an amazing bit of Belgian awesomeness that I was introduced to at Wurstküche when I asked what non-beer-like beer they offered. “Do you like wine?” the proprietress asked. Imagine the look on my face. She gave me a sample and I was hooked.
But that’s not why I was there. We chose it to complete #33 on my list. I went with the Rattlesnake, rabbit and jalapeño pepper sausage as I’m all about finding the weirdest thing on the menu and going for it. There were also Belgian fries with truffle oil. Because obviously. 😏
