#FBF to February when my mother made her pilgrimage west. And like most adventures with my mom, it involved food. We made a pre-movie-marathon trip to #8 on my LA food list, Porto’s Bakery. Insanely busy, insanely cheap, and insanely good, if it weren’t so far away in Burbank, I’d be there all the time.
Two dulche de leche kiss cookies, one guava tart, three of the cheese rolls from the must-eat list, and a spinach and cheese tart. (Total of $5!) I wish I could have gotten one of everything.
