Bottega Louie

“That looks too good to eat.” Like, what does that even mean? If it looks that good, you *should* eat it!

I’ve been on a series of dining adventures recently, and I’m checking items off my list like I’m running out of time. Saturday, I ventured to Bottega Louie in Downtown LA for their pastries,#24 on the list. It took me three times as long to find parking as it did to choose what I wanted. (And it’s $5/hr at the meters!) I selected only two items—as you know, I’m not independently wealthy. From left to right:

BUDINO: Brown sugar custard, salted caramel, sweet cream & candied almonds

SAINT HONORÉ: Vanilla caramel cream, caramelized sugar pâte à choux, puff pastry & candied almond clusters
